I'm absolutely going crazy with this Babbar Tech, a French company that seems to think it's okay to bombard my site with their relentless crawler bot, all in the name of their worthless "SEO analysis tool." These morons are wreaking havoc on my business. Every couple of days, their bot invades my site, spending hours crawling and grinding everything to a halt imapcting website sales hugely. I've tried everything, blocked it with Wordfence and sending it to 503 error pages, but it just keeps coming back for more.
Their SEO tool must be pathetic because it's crawling pointless pages like "/cart/?remove_item=404ab266b6e48bfadd5fd5d4b07bd8d6&_wpnonce=525347672d" and going through every single one. My site sets the canonical to /cart to guide bots on what to crawl, so they don't waste time and resources, but this dumb bot gathered these pages before I blocked it and just won't stop crawling them. It doesn't have the sense to recognize when it's being blocked and give up. Their Babbar "tech" must really be a joke.
And who's behind this frustrating assault? Jean-Luc Montjaux, some snail-eating twat who apparently doesn't give a damn about the damage his stupid bot is causing. This isn't just irritating; it's downright illegal. This is a denial of service attack, plain and simple. It's unacceptable, and I'm at my wit's end trying to deal with it. What on earth can I do to stop this insanity?
