BLEACHBLACK.com, a Conversational Fashion Diary, is Kristin Reiter and Valerie Killeen’s online amalgamation of collective fashion obsessions.  Spotlighting iconic style muses, musical prodigies, DIY catastrophes / strokes-of-genius, and rarefied hot shit that the girls adore, BLEACHBLACK.com is a forum for evolving their Bohemian Rocker aesthetic.

Sharing more than just blonde locks, former colleagues and fashion industry veterans Kristin and Valerie formed BLEACHBLACK.com, on a sunny summer day at the beach.  Kristin says, “we realized that we talked everyday about concepts we liked, why not just blog about it?”  “We have so many Blogs that we admire,” Valerie says,  “but very few represented more than one dynamic… BLEACHBLACK.com allows us to share what we love with an online-community.”

Insisting on a paired-down, stark interface, the girls blog under columned pseudonyms, Kristin; Bleach and Valerie; Black, respectively.  Valerie adds, “the result is a conversational canvas that best compliments our personalities.”

Kristin Reiter, a graduate of FIDM, originally hails from America’s nordic heartland, Minneapolis, Minnesota.  Design Director in the action sports industry, Kristin splits time between Southern California and Portland, Oregon.

Valerie Killeen, a graduate of Baylor University in Texas, was born and raised in Southern California.  A Design Director in the Skateboard Industry, Valerie calls Orange County, California, home.
