start with:

(x1) kova & t skinny zipper jeans from planet blue (on sale for $52.25!)

(x72) eyelets (3/8″)- usually in the scrapbook aisle at craft stores

(x1) crop-a-dile eyelet setter

(x4) packages of round cording elastic

(thread + sewing machine, straight pins, scissors)

begin by pinching out (x8) (1/2″) sections along the seams-  secure w/ straight pins to create channels to set eyelets.  sew sections on sewing machine to create channels.  using crop-a-dile, punch (x9) holes on each channel.  follow w/ (x9) eyelets on each channel.  begin threading elastic thru channels, similar to lacing a shoe.  reapeat (x4) times, along each set of channels…secure w/ knot and trim excess.
