stone-leggings

 DIY: Rhinestone sheer leggings. Inspired by: Louise Goldin. 

I bought a pair of nylon SHEER white/natural (whatever works for you) at save-ons. I then went to Michaels, although I’m sure any crafty store works fine. I then bought these pre-fabricated “Crystal embellishments” you find in their scrap booking section. And then yes, I super glued them on. Fucking rad NO?! I was going to take the longer approach and hand glue each individual crystal into an amazing pattern… but then I saw these things were already made and generally did the same thing.  XO

    I absolutely adore this! & my oh my…you and valerie’s diy projects are freakin stellar.

    Have to get to that leather fringed key chain idea you had, that would seriously save me so much time during the day(I probably waste at least 20 minutes everyday going through my bag searching for my keys…)

    when i saw these, i just had to try it out for myself. they look so pretty and ethereal. annnd they kind of remind me of classic brittney spears @ the vma’s. i had to HUNT DOWN the damn embellishments. i swear i went to every michael’s in the greater los angeles area. i ended up finding them in pasadena. all my efforts are coming to fruition, though. i’m about to get started on some serious stocking bedazzling. seriously though, this was a great diy idea. =]
