YSL 2.0

ok, so we all knew hedi slimane would have an incredible vision for YSL, but (gasp!) HE CHANGED THE LOGO?  - enter “Saint Laurent Paris.”

YSL- an entwined icon that was once as recognizable as the nike swoosh, is now a sleek, clean typeface, reminiscent of sonya rykiel meets veronique leroy.  word has it that the bags will still maintain the YSL branding, but the RTW will feature the new branding…not sure about you, but i’m confused.

thoughts?

    I think it’s going to take time for us to get used to this haha. it’s like fixing something that isn’t broken.

    I WILL forever call it YSL. Some things should just be kept the way they are… but Saint Laurent Paris? That sounds like a hair conditioner.
