diy: studded shirt
so, as i continue to stud everything that stands still, my next victim was the quintessential 80s staple; the “denim shirt.”
this diy took me all of 12 minutes, and about $6.00. my co-workers questioned if it was “bedazzled,” while another commented, “punk rock chambray…heyyy Heyy heyyy“-
- kids “vintage” (read: old) denim shirt ($3.00 at Goodwill)
- studs (www.tandyleatherfactory.com)
- a butter knife (to flatten prongs on back of studs)
- a sharp Xacto knife (sharper the better, to slice little slits for the studs)
- optional: i spray painted mine black matte finish, for an anodized effect
don’t poke yourself! goodluck!

loving it! so doing that this weekend!
keep up the great blog, girls!

great project!…want my own now.
Hey lady!
I really love your blog so far!
I like the way you mix rock n’ roll and high fashion elements- I’m very much the same way.
studs, leather, fur, super-high heels.
also, thanks for updating it every day…i hate it when people have a great blog ( and great taste)
but are too lazy to be consistent about it!!
Rock on, man!
and check out my little blog…. http://www.heavymetalfashion.blogspot.com
hope you like it!

You’ve kinda fueled my obsession with studding lately. I think that stud selling company is gonna be rich soon. Love that you spray paint it.
