i don’t think we pay enough attention to hair accessories.  people spend hundreds on cuts & color, but $3.00 on a pack of bobby pins-  if that – and it’s not even their fault?  cute stuff doesn’t exist?  i think a pretty, simple metal hair clip in a messy bun is super cute – but they’re hard to find – which brings me to this metal tiara.  rad, right?

the surf/ swim market has always baffled me; bikini’s have never been brighter, but the more-functional sister wetsuit has always (primarily) been black- and is usually accompanied by an obnoxiously-large logo screen on the chest (ugh).  enter cynthia rowley.  her colorblocked pastel collab with quiksilvers’ roxy launched a few years ago, and the industry hasn’t looked back since.  now offering her own, eponymous collection, rowley’s collection makes suits as fun as the waves.
